Robert White (comedian)
Robert White is an English comedian, music teacher, and YouTuber.[1] He was the runner-up on series 12 of Britain's Got Talent in 2018.
Early life
White is from Horsham in West Sussex, England.[2]
Career
White is a primary school music teacher.[2] He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival since 2010.[1]
White was the runner-up on series 12 of Britain's Got Talent, second to comedian Lee Ridley.[2] In 2018, he launched his primer "Tank Top Tour".[1][3] In April 2019, White released a song to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day.[4]
Artistry
White is known for his improvisational skills, anarchic performance style, and a "chaotic stage presence."[5]
Awards and honours
In 2010, White won the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality.[5]
Personal life
White is gay, dyslexic, has Asperger syndrome and is a quarter Welsh.[1] He spent three months at Wandsworth Prison on imitation firearm charges after a prank went wrong.[2]
