River of Tuoni (song)

"River of Tuoni" is the first song on the Finnish symphonic power metal band Amberian Dawn's 2008 album, River of Tuoni. The song was the first track recorded by the band, and the first on their demo, Amberian Dawn. As with all of the band's compositions, the song was composed by the band leader Tuomas Seppälä and its lyrics were written by the lead singer Heidi Parviainen.

This is one of Amberian Dawn's leading hit songs, being their most played song on Last.fm, and a common part of their live repertoire.[1] Since January 2010, the song has been available on the Rock Band Network.[2]

To promote their River of Tuoni album, in May 2008, Amberian Dawn released a music video - their first - of the song, with the band playing the song and the camera shooting a beautiful ocean scenery.[3]
