Rita Elissaiou Komodiki
Rita Elissaiou Komodiki (Greek: Ρίτα Ελισσαίου Κωμοδίκη), is a Cypriot physician and politician for Progressive Party of Working People,[1] current mayoress of the northern coastal occupied city of Kyrenia. Komodiki got a degree on Medicine in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and worked in several hospitals, overall during 1974 Turkish invasion where coordinated the attention of the wounded during the conflict.[2] She was elected on 2016 local elections and took office on 1 January 2017, being one of the four female elected mayoress in Cyprus.[3][4][5][6]
