Arizona Cardinals

Christophel worked with the Arizona Cardinals [1]from 2013-2017, serving as the team's tight ends coach. In 2017, Christophel helped develop rookie free agent Ricky Seals-Jones a college wide receiver who he helped convert into a tight end.He would briefly retire after that year.[2]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In 2019 Christophel would once again coach under Bruce Arians [3]this time however it would be with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[2]
