Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences
The Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences (RIMS) (数理解析研究所, Sūri Kaiseki Kenkyūsho) is a research institute attached to Kyoto University, hosting researchers in the mathematical sciences from all over Japan. RIMS was founded in April 1963.
