Remi Korchemny
Remi Korchemny, PhD (Russian: Реми Корчемный; born 23 June 1932 in Odessa, Ukraine) based out of San Francisco Bay Area is the sprint coach/speed consultant. He was an early coach for Soviet Olympic champion Valeri Borzov.
After the 1972 Olympics, Korchemny moved to the United States. There he worked as a coach at: Pratt Institute, Stanford University, as well as coach to a number of high-profile athletes, Olympic medalists, World Champions, including:

Dr. Remi Korchemny served as the Chairman of the USA Track & Field Sprint Development Committee.
Korchemny was one of the main figures in the 2003 BALCO scandal. In 2006 he pleaded guilty in US District Court to distributing illegal performance-enhancing drugs to athletes between 2000 and 2003.[1] Korchemny was sentenced to one year of probation for this.[2] In the aftermath of the scandal Korchemny agreed to retire in 2007. He was the first coach disciplined by the United States Anti-Doping Agency.[3] Korchemny is currently serving a lifetime ban from USA Track & Field for Conspiracy and cover-up.[4]
