Redon Xhixha

Redon Xhixha (born 14 July 1998) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Albanian club Laçi.

Club career

Laçi

On 20 July 2017, Xhixha signed his first professional contract and joined Albanian Superliga side Laçi.[1] He was an unused substitute in the opening matchday away against Partizani Tirana on 10 September, in which Laçi caused an upset by winning 0–2.[2] Three days later, Xhixha made his Albanian Cup debut in the first leg of first round where he bagged 5 goals in a 12–0 hammering of Sopoti Librazhd.[3] He dedicated the goals to his family.[4]

He made his first Albanian Superliga appearance on 24 September in matchday 2 against Kukësi, finished in a 3–0 away loss,[5] and netted his first league goals one week later in a 2–0 home win over Vllaznia Shkodër.[6]

Personal life

His favourite players are Hamdi Salihi and Robert Lewandowski.[7]
