RedMonk

RedMonk[1] is an industry analyst firm focused on software developers and headquartered in Portland, Maine, USA. It was founded on the premise of the increasing influence of software developers in the technology industry.[2] RedMonk co-founder Stephen O'Grady authored a book on "The New Kingmakers: How Developers Conquered the World" which details this premise[3] and a book on "The Software Paradox: The Rise and Fall of the Commercial Software Market" which considers the changing role of commercial software.[4]

RedMonk covers trends in the software industry such as the top-used programming languages.[5][6]

gollark: <@!330678593904443393> You would pass it 6 register indices.
gollark: 32 registers would probably allow room for more fun stuff, like the program metacounter register.
gollark: Unless I decide to upgrade to 32 registers, in which case it would only allow 5 max.
gollark: Very late, but PotatoASM can probably handle syscalls of up to 6 parameters, which is surely enough for ANY possible usecase, through passing a bunch of register indices as operands to the `SYSC` instruction.
gollark: It's annoying that my internet connection is so bad right now.
