Recreation Ground, Torquay
Since 1904 Torquay Athletic RFC have been tenants at the ground with cricket continuing to be played in the summer months.[2] The capacity is around 3,000 including 300 in the grandstand.[3] Initially the rugby grandstand held around 600 but in recent years only half of it is accessible due to safety concerns.

Recreation Ground is a former First-class cricket ground located in Torquay, Devon – last holding a first class match in 1994 between the MCCA and South Africa. Between 1954 and 1958, the ground hosted annual fixtures between the South and the North, and between England XI and Commonwealth XI. The ground has been among the home venues for Devon County Cricket Club since 1931 – holding many of their List A matches over the years. Whilst first-class county Somerset have also hosted seven matches on the ground (including five in the old Sunday League).[1] It is still home to eight times Devon Cricket League Champions, Torquay CC, who moved to ground back in 1926.
