Rao Ruda Singh
Rao Ruda Singh was a Yaduvanshi states man a Yadav/Ahir noble who carved out a jagir in jungle near Rewari in 1555 from the Mughal Emperor Humayun for rendering meritorious services during the later's encounter with the Sur Empire.[1][2] Ruda Singh had his headquarters located at Bolni 12 km south-east of Rewari. He cleared the jungle and founded new villages.[3]
