Reception

Following the release of the trailer, Rizvi received a threatening telephone call from Abdul Menon demanding a halt to the film's release.[6] A subsequent Bombay high court ruling restrained Rizvi from releasing the film without authorization from the Central Board of Film Certification.[7]
