Ralf Falkenmayer

Ralf Falkenmayer (born 11 February 1963) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.[1]

Career

A former defensive midfielder, he made 385 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen.[2] With Eintracht he won the DFB-Pokal in 1981 and with Bayer Leverkusen the UEFA Cup in 1988,[3] despite missing his penalty in the shootout in the final.

For the national team he was capped four times between 1984 and 1986.[4] He took part with West Germany at the Euro 1984 in France.

On the one hand you're trying to make sure that the people you have match the population, but on the other you're going about hiring people based on factors other than how well they can do the job (though that was... probably going to happen anyway, considering), and people may worry that they got in only because of being some race/gender.
