Raipur–Bilaspur Expressway

Raipur – Bilaspur expressway is an expressway linking Bilaspur and Raipur, two key cities in Chhattisgarh State. Raipur is the capital of the state of Chhattisgarh. The National Highway -200 (NH-200) And (NH 30) connects these cities. The traffic overcrowding will be relieved and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will also be benefited from Raipur – Bilaspur expressway.[1] The project is being constructed cost of 15.50 billion INR. Raipur and bilaspur are two significant Urban agglomeration and industrial cities too . This road has been most awaited project for state government and its public As of December 2017 this road is still constructing deadline date of the project is December 2018. This road has been constructing to 47 km six lane to Raipur to simga after this road will be constructed to four lane till Bilaspur. As per project timelines, Project is delayed by 64 months and still not completed. This work will be completed by 15 Aug 2019 as per NHAI commitment to High Court, Chhattisgarh. As per current situation, Road is open as one way all the way from Bilaspur to Raipur, with diversion after every 3-4 km and most of the over bridges are not completed. This is quite hazardous while driving in night because of lack of visibility across quick diversions and one way road.
