Plot

In Tamil Nadu, in the 1960s...

Upon return from a particularly dangerous but successful mission abroad, Ramu (MGR), the secret agent 115 of Research and Analysis Wing receives the results of his investigations.

The suspects' list is handed to him.

A very rich family is in the line of fire.

It is suspected that someone there resells classified information of National Security.

To begin with eccentric Dhanabal Muthaliar (K. D. Santhanam) and his son Nambhirajan (S. A. Ashokan), the more enigmatic!

Ramu is sent to infiltrate the family.

On the spot, in the hotel where he came down, he thwarts the muscular welcoming committee which waited for him.

Somewhere else, at the same moment, a young woman is bored, thinking of Ramu.

It is about his younger sister, Parvathi (Bathmani).

Although their mother, a blind person, comforts her, the young woman cannot admit the real reasons of her sorrow, at least at the moment...

Full of unsettling questions for all, the mystery is only thickening...

Production

Ramu, an intelligence Indian officer in the Secret Intelligence Service. Ramu was also known by his code number, 115.

Ramu 115 is the alter-ego of a James Bond 007 or a Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath, alias OSS 117, in term of efficiency in the field of the espionage or missions which are confided to him.

It is not the first time when MGR puts on a secret agent's suit.

In the past, we remember the famous Maran, another Indian intelligence officer from Dheiva Thaai of 1964.

But it exists in the filmography of MGR there, the list is long...

There are many winks (allusions) to the British spy of Ian Fleming, at least, the film adventures in RAGASIYA POLICE 115

In this movie, the actor K. D. Santhanam compares MGR to the American star Errol Flynn, for their physical resemblance.

We know that by close past, Padmini Pictures of B. R. Panthulu had just adapted with big success, Captain Blood, with the same, Errol Flynn!

RAGASIYA POLICE 115 is the third production of Padmini Pictures of his owner, the director B. R. Panthulu, with MGR as hero.
