Radio Padma

Radio Padma is a Bangladeshi FM radio station. The station went live in 2010 and is currently available in Rajshahi. Radio Padma is the first community radio station to be established in Bangladesh.

History

On 7 October 2011 Radio Padma was formally launched by the former Information Minister of Bangladesh Abul Kalam Azad MP as the first community radio station of Bangladesh. This is a community media initiative of CCD Bangladesh for empowering people by providing information.[1]
