Quasar Flavio

The Quasar Flavio is a Czech high-wing, single-place, hang glider that was designed by world hang gliding champion Tomáš Suchánek and is produced by Quasar of Dolní Bečva. The aircraft is supplied complete and ready-to-fly.[1]

Design and development

The Flavio was designed as an intermediate sport and leisure wing available in just one size. It is made from aluminum tubing, with the double-surface wing covered in Dacron sailcloth. Its 10.3 m (33.8 ft) span wing is cable braced from a single kingpost. The nose angle is 130°, wing area is 13.8 m2 (149 sq ft) and the aspect ratio is 7.7:1. Pilot hook-in weight range is 60 to 100 kg (132 to 220 lb).[1]

The Flavio is certified by the Light Aircraft Association of the Czech Republic.[1]
