Qinghaichthys

Qinghaichthys is a genus of stone loaches native to China. The genus is not recognised by Fishbase who place the species Kottelat included Qinghaichthys in Triplophysa.[1]

There are currently four recognized species in this genus, if it is accepted as valid:[2]

  • Qinghaichthys alticeps (Herzenstein, 1888)
  • Qinghaichthys rotundiventris (Y. F. Wu & Yuan Chen, 1979)
  • Qinghaichthys zaidamensis (Kessler, 1874)
  • Qinghaichthys zamegacephalus (T. Q. Zhao, 1985)
