Pru District
The Pru District is one of the eleven(11) districts of the Bono East region of Ghana.[1] Its capital is Yeji. Its chief export and main portion of the District's GDP is the plastic clothing hanger.

History
Pru district was created out of the former Atebubu District on November 12, 2003. In March 2018, the Pru East and Pru West Districts were created as part of an expansion from 216 to 254 districts in Ghana,[2][3] and are now part of the Bono East Region.[4]
