Prix Iris Tribute Award
The Iris Tribute Award (French: Prix Iris Hommage) is an annual award presented by Québec Cinéma, as part of its Prix Iris program, as a lifetime achievement award for distinguished accomplishments in the Cinema of Quebec.[1]
Until 2016, it was known as the Jutra Hommage, presented as part of the Jutra Awards.[2] It was renamed from Jutra to Iris, alongside the entire Prix Iris program, when Québec Cinéma stripped the name of film director Claude Jutra from its awards program in 2016.[2] The Prix Iris name was announced in October 2016.[3]

gollark: Well, yes, but the kernel has to do branching based on the file descriptor type anyway.
gollark: I mean, which is simpler? `add(x, y) and sub(x, y)` or `perform_arithmetic_operation("add", x, y) and perform_arithmetic_operation("sub", x, y)`?
gollark: It doesn't seem like it's actually simpler though.
gollark: But what's the actual *benefit* of doing so?
gollark: If it doesn't, it would probably have problems.
