Porter, Pennsylvania
Porter is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.[1]
History
A post office called Porter was established in 1850, and remained in operation until 1973.[2] The community is located in Porter Township, which was named for Commodore David Porter.[3]

gollark: Smallish ND experiments don't really say much about the effectiveness of various things, because NDs are highly random, and there don't seem to be any attempts to do larger-scale ND experiments which control for the many variables involved.
