Etymology

According to the local legends Ladislaus I of Hungary came in the area once and a nail fell out of the wheel of his chariot. A cottar noticed it and put his finger in the hole. The king asked him where he lives. But he could not tell him because his village had no name. So the village got the name Szentkirály (English: Saint king).

The scientific explanation states that it was named after the patron of its church, Saint Stephen of Hungary, the first saint among the Hungarian kings, like Rinyaszentkirály.[2]

gollark: It is a very efficient game.
gollark: You can overclock them... all the way to an amazing 2GHz, which leaves it massively slower than a 10-year-old desktop.
gollark: Pis are entirely capable for things like webservers, but not compute-heavy workloads like Minecraft *somehow* is.
gollark: Correction: Cortex-A72s.
gollark: The server here runs on an actual high-power... server... with 4 Neoverse-N1 cores, lots of fast RAM, etc. Raspberry Pis have 8GB of RAM at most, and it's slower LPDDR4, and it has half the clocks, and Cortex-A73s, which are worse.
