Plain parakeet

The plain parakeet (Brotogeris tirica) is a species of parrot in the family Psittacidae. It is endemic to Brazil.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and heavily degraded former forest. It is common in the urban areas of São Paulo and Curitiba in South Brazil.

Description

The plain parakeet is noticeable for being plain green all over. Their beaks are a pinkish colour.
