Plain Rap
Plain Rap is the third studio album by Los Angeles hip hop group The Pharcyde. The album was released on November 7, 2000 on Delicious Vinyl through Edel America Records (now known as earMUSIC). The album features production from Showbiz of D.I.T.C., J-Swift and the group themselves as well as features lonely guest from Black Thought. Much like Fatlip after the group’s previous album Labcabincalifornia, Slimkid3 (also going by his birth name of Tre Hardson) left the group after the album was released to pursue a solo career.
