Peter O'Toole filmography
Peter Seamus O'Toole (2 August 1932 – 14 December 2013) was an actor of stage and screen who achieved film stardom in 1962 playing T. E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia.[1][2] He went on to become one of the most honoured film and stage actors of his time.[3][4] He won an Honorary Oscar in 2002, but holds the record for most competitive Academy Award nominations for an actor without winning, going winless in eight attempts.[5]

For a number of years O'Toole was among the most popular stars at the British box office:

Peter O'Toole's last theatrical film was 'Christmas Cottage' released in 2008. It was directed by Michael Campus and also starred Jared Padelecki. O'Toole played a famous but dying painter. It was a biopic of the painter Thomas Kincade. Padelecki played Kincade, and O'Toole played his mentor.
