PeteStrumentals 3

PeteStrumentals 3 is a fifth upcoming instrumental hip hop album by hip hop producer Pete Rock. It is the third installment of Rock's PeteStrumentals series. It features Rock's band called "The Soul Brothers". It includes Marcus Machado on guitar, Daru Jones on drums, MonoNeon on bass, Big Yuki on keyboards and Jermaine Holmes on vocals.[2] The album will contain no music sampling and will provide live band playing as instrumentals beats, which Rock will serve as the bandleader on the album. The album was scheduled to be released on Rock's own imprint Tru Soul Records on Record Store Day on April 18, 2020, but the date of Record Store Day was rescheduled to June 20 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] This date has since been changed again, which will now be scheduled to be released on August 29, 2020 (Record Store Day).[4] The physical release date of the album is currently unknown.[5]
