Petar Angelov (handballer)

Petar Angelov (Macedonian: Петар Ангелов) (born 8 March 1977) is a Macedonian handball player who plays for RK Tineks Prolet.He started to play in his home town Kavadarci club RK Tikveš.In his rich handball carrier he played for the top Macedonian teams : Pelister, Metalurg ,Vardar and abroad for Tremblay-en-France,Antalyaspor, UHK Krems and SG Ratingen 2011. He won with his teams 8 championships ,7 National Cups, 2 regional championships ,and one EHF Champions League. At age 43 he is still active and defends the nets of his club with success. Angelov used to be a part of the National team in period 2002-2016 defending the nets at 138 international matches and scoring 7 goals -with attractions back to back throws over the whole field getting the ball in the NET. He is a legend and one of the most remarkable Goalkeepers in Macedonia .
