Reconstruction

Patterson joined President Asif Ali Zardari, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti in inaugurating the 25 kilometres (16 mi) Peshawar Southern Bypass (Southern Ring Road). The U.S.-financed project provided 2.1 billion (US$13 million) in upgrades to the road. The US Ambassador stated the road would provide ease traffic between Charsadda and Hayatabad, improve security, and generate greater trade opportunities for the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas,".[3]

Expansion

The Peshawar Ring Road's northern half is currently bring expanded to Warsak Road, Nasir Bagh and Hayatabad. The 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) Pajjagi-Warsak section is under construction and will be inaugurated in 2018. From Warsak Road, the ring road will be expanded towards Hayatabad, passing through Palosi and Regi villages.

gollark: Maybe I should reorder the privacy policy and add more sensible bits at the start so it looks like it's slowly degenerating into insanity.
