Penthophera morio
Penthophera morio is a moth species of subfamily Lymantriinae first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1767.[1][2] It can be found in Italy, central Europe, southern Russia and Armenia.

The wingspan is 22–32 mm for males. The moth flies from April to June.
The larvae feed on various grasses, such as Gramineae species and Lolium perenne.
