After three successful seasons with NK Žepče, including appearance in the 2005–06 UEFA Cup,[1][2] he joined defending champions NK Široki Brijeg and played for the club in the UEFA Champions League. Doçi then returned to Kosovo, helping KF Vëllaznimi to a second-place finish in the Football Superleague of Kosovo and victory in the Kosovar Cup. Before joining Moslavina in the summer of 2011,[3] he had brief stints with FK Sarajevo, KF Liria and KF Ballkani.

He announced his retirement from playing in January 2016.[4]
