Pareuthria

Pareuthria is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.[2]

Distribution

Species of Pareuthria are found in waters off of New Zealand and Argentina.[3][4]

Evolution

Pareuthria is related to the genus Cominella found in New Zealand and Australia.[5][4] Pareuthria is currently recognised within the family Buccinidae but it has also been referred to the alternative families Buccinulidae and Cominellidae.[5][4]
