Paksey

Paksey (Bengali: পাকশী Paksey) is a town situated in Ishwardi Upazila at Pabna District under Rajshahi Division of Bangladesh. It is a Divisional City of Bangladesh Railway. It is located on the bank of the Padma River (Ganges). Hardinge Bridge (Bengali: হার্ডিঞ্জ ব্রিজ) is a steel railway bridge established here named after Lord Hardinge, who was the Viceroy of India from 1910 to 1916. In addition, the Lalon Shah Bridge, a road bridge, crosses the Padma at Paksey.
