Club career

Adelaide United

After impressing head coach Marco Kurz while playing for Adelaide United Youth in the Y-League, Niyongabire made his professional debut in a Round 16 clash against Sydney FC, replacing Mark Ochieng in the 80th minute in a 0–0 draw.[2] On 6 March 2018, he signed a 2 12-year scholarship contract with the club.[3]

Personal life

Niyongabire was born in war-torn Burundi, and spent his early childhood in Tanzania. At the age of 7, his family migrated to Australia.[4] His older brother, Elvis Kamsoba, currently plays for Melbourne Victory and the Burundi national football team.[5][6]

gollark: /associated with them
gollark: So they have a thing where "new student" cards can just have arbitrary student numbers written to them, or what?
gollark: I don't know why you would make it so that you could just directly write on the student number.
gollark: The low-frequency ones just ship with a presumably-random unique ID number; if you just had a list of which ID numbers each student owned, then it would be somewhat more secure since at least you would have to *copy* their card or something.
gollark: From my vague knowledge of how NFC cards work, they would have had to go to *some effort* to make it insecure like that.
