Osler Library Archival Collection
The Osler Library Archival Collection is an ensemble of more than 200 archival fonds[1] held at the Osler Library of the History of the Medicine, at the third floor of the McIntyre Medical Sciences Building[2] in Montreal.

Description
Amongst the special collections of the library, there are archives of well-known Canadian doctors such as the Wilder Penfield Archives,[3] which contains documents about the foundation and history of the Montreal Neurological Institute, and traces the career of neurosurgeon Wilder Penfield. It also contains the Sir William Osler Collection,[4] an archival fonds regrouping the personal writings of Osler.
The collection contains other fonds donated by McGill and other graduates, documenting the history of medicine and its teaching at McGill University, through correspondence,[5] notebooks[6] of case studies, diaries,[7] lecture notes[8] and photographs.[9]
