Oleksandr Ponomariov (politician)
Ponomariov Olexandr (UA: Пономарьов Олександр Сергійович; was born on January 7, 1962 in Berdyansk, Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine). Ukrainian economist and politician. People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VIIth and VIIIth convocations.[1]

Public-Political activity
- 2002 – 2006 – deputy of Zaporizhia Oblast Council
- 2006 – was elected a member of executive committee of Berdyansk City Council.
- 2010 – 2012 – Zaporizhia Oblast Council deputy.
- 2012 – People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VIIth convocation, electoral precinct № 78, Zaporizhia Oblast, self-nomination.
- November 27, 2014 – People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the VIIIth convocation. Electoral precinct №78, Zaporizhia Oblast, self-nomination.[2]
- The member of the deputies’ group "People’s Will"
- The chairman of subcommittee on the questions of autoroads and public road system of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on transport questions.[3]
In the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election Ponomariov was reelected to parliament again in electoral precinct № 78 for Opposition Platform — For Life with 36.85% of the votes.[4][5] Runner-up Vitalii Bohovin of Servant of the People gained 32.44% of the votes.[4]
