NEC
Ter Haar Romeny started playing football at DVOL in Lent and played in the youth academy of NEC. In the winter of 2018 he joined the first squad at training camp and under new first coach Pepijn Lijnders he was regularly part of the squad. On January 19, 2018, he made his debut in the 3-2 away match against Almere City. He replaced his childhood friend Ferdi Kadioglu after 84 minutes. In injury time he had to leave the field after a red card from referee Kevin Blom. With that, he is the youngest player ever in the Jupiler League who got a red card at his debut. The card was dismissed after appeal.
International career
Ter Haar Romeny played one international match for Netherlands national under-15 and under-18 team.[2]
