History

The church was built in 1934 to replace the Old Olden Church as the main church for the parish since it was too small for the parish. The new church was built about 0.7 kilometres (0.43 mi) to the south of the old church. It was consecrated on 19 December 1934 by the Bishop Andreas Fleischer.[3]
