Singer and songwriter Neil Hannon said that the use of marimba was inspired by bands such as Blondie on their single "The Tide Is High" and Siouxsie Sioux's second band The Creatures.[5] Hannon also cited the tribal drums of early Adam Ant as one of the other references.[5]

At Metacritic, which assigns a normalised rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 77, based on 7 reviews, indicating "generally good reviews."[2]

gollark: Unless they just use the internet to download a big program for control. That would work fine.
gollark: Firstly, you can just pick up drones with screnches. Secondly, they can't actually fire weapons or anything as far as I know (maybe they could drop radioactive material, that would be !!FUN!!). Thirdly, I doubt the drones are very secure.
gollark: Anyway, don't worry much about killer drones, they make poor weapons.
gollark: I wonder if you could automatically try and trilaterate/triangulate radiation sources using a network of Geiger counters.
gollark: If you put your reactors in a box with closed doors, drones are physically incapable of entering.
