Oak, Missouri

Oak is an unincorporated community in Butler County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

History

A post office called Oak was established in 1894, and remained in operation until 1906.[2] The community most likely was named for the oaks at the original town site.[3]

gollark: Well, yes, it is "good" compared to most mainstream languages.
gollark: It's not Haskell (which I consider sort of a good thing), but I like it because it has a decent type system, really good tooling, decent speed/efficiency, and it's actually not horrible for me to program in it. Except sometimes the borrow checker is annoying.
