gollark: <@113673208296636420> It shows basically every page!
gollark: <@113673208296636420> I mean, if you want a rough explanation of the functioning of it:- pages are fetched from their server- pages are parsed for text content/links in them- links are added to the crawl queue- the crawler bit goes through *those* pages if they're on a whitelisted domain- the text content is converted into tokens, and the frequency is counted, then divided by the total tokens on a page (this is "weight")- the tokens in each page are stored in the DATABASE™ (as well as the other stuff)- when a search is run, it finds any page containing the tokens in the search, and they're sorted by weight of each token within them times the frequency of that token in the DATABASE™
gollark: What do you mean?
