Club career
Mendes joined the youth academy of Sporting CP at the age of 10.[1] He made his professional debut in a 1–0 Primeira Liga home win over F.C. Paços de Ferreira on 12 June 2020, as a 72nd-minute substitute for Marcos Acuña.[2]
