Nulogy Corporation (commonly referred to as Nulogy) is a Canadian technology company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Nulogy is a software as a service technology company that develops, supports, and sells software products in the field of supply chain management, contract packaging, and contract manufacturing.

History

Nulogy was founded in 2002 by former employees of Kellogg's, Magna, Microsoft, Research In Motion, CGI, and other technology companies.

Although the business began in Canada, it soon expanded to other parts of the world. In 2007, the business had clients in the United States. By 2010, its operations extended to Australia and in 2012, Nulogy had acquired several customers and contracts in Europe. By 2015, the company had clients in 11 different countries and 5 continents around the world.

The company name Nulogy (pronounced "new-low-gee") was based on the word "noölogy" which means "The science of intellectual phenomena".[1]

Awards

In 2014, analyst firm Gartner selected Nulogy as a "Cool Vendor" in the firm’s report on "Cool Vendors in Supply Chain Services, 2014".[2] Later in 2014, Food Logistics awarded Nulogy with the "Food Logistics FL100" award and named the company a top technology provider for holding an influential role in the global food and beverage supply chain.

In 2015, Nulogy received the Deloitte Fast 50 and Deloitte Fast 500 awards for being one of the fastest growing technology companies in Canada and in North America.[3]

Products and Services

  • PackManager: A Contract Packaging Management system designed for the contract manufacturing and packaging industry. PackManager includes warehouse management (WMS), financial and manufacturing resource planning modules. PackManager integrates with Intuit's QuickBooks, SAP, RedPrairie, and other systems.
  • QCloud: A software service tool for automating quality control processes and reporting in manufacturing, packaging, and logistics environments. Built for modern multi-touch tablets, it is claimed it does not require extensive training or deliver rapid return on investment.
  • Consulting: Nulogy offers professional consulting services which are customized to each individual customer. Consulting services include on-site assessments, reports, and recommendations of performance improvement initiatives, all of which aim to implement best practices and enable improved performance.
  • Nulogy University: In 2015, the company launched "Nulogy University", which offers self-led and instructor-led courses that aim to educate users on the contract packaging industry and on the company's software solutions.
  • Rapid Contact Tracing: On 7 May 2020, Nulogy announced the extension of its cloud-based platform with Rapid Contact Tracing, a new range of contract packagers and distributors capabilities to protect the health and safety of workers while ensuring robust business operations.[4] This product is intended for pandemic preparedness program to provide global supply chain suppliers with new resources to handle ever more complex COVID-19 operating processes.[5]
