Nouva Monika Wahlgren

Monika Wahlgren (born c.1985[1]) is an English-Swedish actress, who started her acting career in small theater productions in Birmingham at the Drum theatre. She modelled for a few magazines and made her first screen appearance in music videos and did her debut role in India.

Career

She made her debut in India, in a South Indian production in 2007, Fun aur Masti.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

She also went on to do several advertising campaigns in India, for big brands like Nivea, Lipton and Chennai Silks "worlds most expensive saree" worth Rs. 42 Lakhs.

Wahlgren made a guest appearance with Indian actor Govinda, in the yet to be released Hindi comedy film Naughty @ 40, which is inspired by Hollywood comedy The 40-Year-Old Virgin, as a personal request by a family friend and director, Jagmohan Mundhra.

Wahlgren was then cast in The Other End of the Line, a Hollywood production with Jesse Metcalfe, Shriya Saran, Larry Miller and Anupam Kher in the roles. It is a romantic comedy, directed by James Dodson and released in 2008. The film was co-produced by the Indian-American producer Ashok Amritraj and Patrick Aiello.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
