Cricket was first played in North Macedonia in 2007[1] by members of the country's expat communities from cricket-playing nations. Recently the game has seen an upsurge in popularity, with local people becoming more involved in the sport. North Macedonia aim to gain Affiliate membership of the International Cricket Council within 3 years.[2]
