Nindu Manasulu

Nindu Manasulu (transl. Completed hearts) is a 1967 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by M. Jaganatha Rao under the banner S.V.S. Films[2] and directed by S. D. Lal.[3] The film stars N. T. Rama Rao and Devika,[4] with music composed by T. V. Raju. The movie is a remake of 1966 Hindi movie Phool Aur Patthar [5]

Plot

Raju (N. T. Rama Rao) is an honest and courageous person who cannot stand any form of injustice, for which he is frequently sentenced. Seshu (Rajanala), the corrupt owner of Three Aces Club, learns of his bravery and plans to recruit him as a henchman, but Raju refuses. He returns to his colony; a diverse community with people of various mindsets living together. Raju appears frightful to each one of them.

Meanwhile, Seshu steals a diamond necklace with the help of dancer Rosy (L. Vijayalakshmi) and puts the blame on Raju, who is arrested by the police, but requests for a last chance to prove his innocence. Ultimately, he catches Rosy; in that quarrel, Seshu's henchmen Dasu dies and Raju is implicated in it. Now Seshu threatens Raju and forcibly makes him huge robberies burglar. Parallelly, another story runs, Raghupathi (Dhulipala) a drunkard Zamindar who lives along with his daughter Susheela (Devika). Due to Raghupathi's behavior, his father makes his entire property into a trust. Knowing it, Veerabhadrayya (Ramana Reddy), a cunning person along with his wife Durgamma (Chaya Devi) plans to make Susheela's marriage with their son (Allu Ramalingaiah) who is suffering from T.B. Just before marriage, Raghupathi realizes the truth, in that anger, he shoots the groom and he dies. Thereafter, Raghupathi escapes and Susheela is locked in the hands of Veerabhadrayya. At the same time, Seshu sends Raju to steal a diamond necklace at Veerabhadraiah's house, where he spots Shankaram (Ch. Krishna Murthy), the younger son of Veerabhadraiah molesting Susheela, he rescues and takes her to his house. In her acquaintance, Raju totally reforms and both of them start liking each other. Parallelly, Rosy also truly loves Raju, when she smokes out Susheela matter, she immediately rushes and blames her. Eventually, Rangayya (Satyanarayana), a goon in Raju's colony abuses Susheela, listening to it, Raju tries to kill him and Susheela stops him by a slap. Here out of rage, Rangayya tries to set fire to Raju's house, but unfortunately, he only stuck in it. On the request of Susheela, Raju rescues him when everyone in the colony realizes the virtue of Raju & Susheela. Meanwhile, Chanti (Rajababu), the assistant to Raju solves the murder mystery of Dasu, who is alive, by developing intimacy with his sister Chitti (Vanisri). Raju catches Dasu, throws him before Seshu and gives the last warning. An angered Seshu kidnaps Susheela, Raghupathi who hides behind, fortunately, observers it and follows them. Raju also gets information regarding it and he protects Susheela. At that point in time, Seshu tries to kill Raju when Rosy obstructs his way and sacrifices her life. Raghupathi kills Seshu, runs away, both the murders' fall on Raju and he is presented in the court. At last, Raghupathi arrives, admits his crime and surrenders himself. Before leaving, he joins the hands of Raju & Susheela. Both of them reach their colony where everyone gives them a warm welcome. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Raju & Susheela.
