Plot

The year is 2023 and Paris is governed by a power-hungry dictator. As Alcide Nikopol you try to find a way of joining the underground rebellion and help stop the dictator's iron fist rule. The history takes a turn towards the weird, as Nikopol finds out that his father - an astronaut sent into orbital exile in cryopreservation - may be alive and well in the city. At the same time, a strange pyramid hovers over Paris, and a rumour of Egyptian gods residing in it spreads like wildfire.

Reception

The game received fairly positive reviews, earning a score of 8.2/10 from IGN,[1] 8.0/10 from GameZone,[2] 8.2 from Digital Chumps[3] and a final score of 'GREAT GAME' at Diehard GameFAN.[4] The game was rated highly for its graphics, story, sound and puzzles.

However, not every review of the game was favourable. Adventure Gamers gave it 2/5 stars, with the reviewer criticizing several aspects of the game, including its linear nature, illogical puzzles, and, what they felt to be a particularly confusing story.[5] Currently, it scores 68/100 on Metacritic, based on 14 reviews.[6]

gollark: On the plus side, it is a very good webserver apart from that.
gollark: It randomly does different things depending on `/` presence, `root` and `alias` are separate slightly confusing things for some reason, and the only code reuse mechanism is `include`.
gollark: Nginx's configuration manages to be impressively incomprehensible despite its relatively clean syntax.
gollark: My ideal protocol would probably be something like IRC but with globally shared, cryptographically validated identity, modern things like the Discord guild/channel model, reactions, serverside history, and file upload, and standardized "bouncer" capabilities.
gollark: Oh, *that*.
