Nicholas Gumbo
Nicolas Gumbo is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Rarieda Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election.[1]
In 2015, in his capacity as chairman of the parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Gumbo was at the forefront of question cabinet secreaty Anne Waiguru over corruption allegations in the ministry of devolution and planning in the National Youth Service Scandal.[2]
In 2015 before tabling the forensic report on the judiciary, Gumbo told the media that he had received death threats from unknown sources. He said that he got text messages saying that the death threats were aimed at him and his family.[3]
In 2015, he said that he would run for the Siaya gubernatorial seat in 2017 to unseat the incumbent Cornel Rasanga.[4]
