New Braunfels Independent School District

New Braunfels Independent School District (NBISD) is a public school district based in New Braunfels, Texas (United States). It is the only American district to use a unicorn as its mascot.

Located in Comal County, a small portion of the district extends into Guadalupe County.

In 2009, it was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
