Neta Lavi

Neta Lavi (Hebrew: נטע לביא‎; born August 25, 1996) is an Israeli football player. He plays as a defensive midfielder, currently with Maccabi Haifa, where he is the squad captain.

Lavi was born in kibbutz Ramat Hashofet. In the year 2010 he joined Maccabi Hafia youth team.

Club career

Lavi was captain of the Maccabi Haifa youth team that won the double in 2014.[1] Lavi has made his official debut for Maccabi Haifa on 28 October 2015 in a game against Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in the Toto Cup.

He made his Israeli Premier League debut for Maccabi Haifa on 7 December 2015 in a game against Hapoel Haifa.

International career

Lavi was part of the Israeli youth national team and Played 8 times for the Israeli U19 and 12 times for the Israeli U21 national side, under coach Arik Benado.

Lavis debut for the Israeli national team was on May 31, 2016 ,coming on as a substitute during a friendly match against Serbia.[2]
