gollark: The thing is that you *have choice* like you would *not* have with Windows, DE-wise.
gollark: The desktop environments are fine in my opinion (don't see the problem with LXDE and Budgie, anyway), GIMP is kind of a mess yes, never used Krita/Blender.
gollark: I mean, I'm sure there is FOSS with poor UIs, but... you can just... not use that?
