Background

Nature Strip was passed in for $90,000 at a yearling sale, however was later sold to a group of Melbourne owners for $100,000.[2]

Racing career

In 2019, Nature Strip was successful in three Group 1 races, the Galaxy at Randwick Racecourse, a race that his father, Nicconi won in 2009, the Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley Racecourse and the Darley Sprint Classic.[3]

In 2020 Nature Strip won his fourth Group 1 race when successful in the TJ Smith Stakes.[4]
